John O'Brien Delivered Annual Hartman Memorial Lecture at Ole Miss

NPC President and CEO John M. O'Brien, PharmD, MPH, delivered the annual Charles W. Hartman Memorial Lecture at the University of Mississippi on Friday, March 11.
Dr. O'Brien spoke about the importance of pharmacists understanding the health care ecosystem and providing patient care, designing care delivery models, and shaping the health policy landscape. He shared lessons learned from using his pharmacy degree in senior positions across the pharmaceutical and managed care industries, government, and academia.
The Charles W. Hartman Memorial Lecture was established in 1973 by the university's School of Pharmacy to recognize the contributions of the school's former dean. An internationally recognized leader in pharmacy is selected to deliver the lecture each year.
