ISPOR STUDENT NETWORK ROUNDTABLE: Unpacking the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) – Status and Implications Beyond Drug Pricing

The ISPOR Student Network Roundtable Event will discuss the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), with an overview of the status, next steps, and longer-term implications, as well as a focus on the aspects of the IRA beyond the drug-pricing related components. The talk will explore how the IRA impacts access, affordability, and sustainability in health care and implications in healthcare policy decision making.
The talk will be presented by a panel of experts to discuss the IRA from the industry, independent, and academic perspective. The speakers will engage in a discussion both with each other and with the audience through a question-and-answer format. This talk will educate not only students and new professionals, but also all other members of ISPOR attending the conference interested in the impact of the IRA.
