NPC Director of Health Services Research Kimberly Westrich, MA, presented "The Environment for Health Care Decision Making: Tracking Changes and New Insights" at the Drug Information Association's (DIA) 2014 50th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 17, at 8:00 am PT.
Panelists joining Ms. Westrich included:
- Nancy Dreyer, MPH, PhD, chief of scientific affairs and senior vice president, Quintiles Outcome
- Brian S. Mittman, PhD, senior advisor, VA Center for Implementation Practice and Research Support; senior scientist, Department of Research and Evaluation, Kaiser Permanente Southern California
Ms. Westrich presented the findings from NPC's annual survey, Comparative Effectiveness Research and the Environment for Health Care Decision-Making, at DIA's 2013 and 2012 Annual Meetings.
The conference is "the largest multidisciplinary event that brings together a community of life sciences professionals at all levels and across all disciplines involved in the discovery, development, and life cycle management of medical products all with a common goal to foster innovation that will lead to the development of safe and effective medical products and therapies to patients."
