Poster Session: Oncology Drug Development: A Drug-Level Analysis of Subsequent Indications
An important component of accelerating the development of cancer treatments for patients is identifying new indications for drugs that have already been evaluated for safety and efficacy through clinical trials and regulatory review. NPC Research Associate, James Motyka, PharmD, will describe historical trends in post-approval oncology drug development and discuss the impact the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will likely have on efforts to identify new cancer indications.

NPC’s VP of Research, Rochelle Henderson, PhD will present research on the relationship between race/ethnicity, wage status and specialty medication among employees with autoimmune conditions, and discuss how findings can be used to inform efforts to promote health equity. The research was selected by AMCP and the AMCP Foundation as one of the top-rated abstracts aligned key research priorities.
