Washington, DC, September 19, 2013—The National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC) today released the following statement regarding the Government Accountability Office’s appointment of Dr. Grayson Norquist as chair of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI) Board of Governors:
“We congratulate Dr. Norquist on his appointment as chair. He has been a thoughtful and active member of the PCORI board since its inception, and recognizes the importance of bringing all stakeholders into the conversation about the development and use of comparative effectiveness research in the United States,” said NPC President Dan Leonard.
