The United States has made a significant investment in comparative effectiveness research (CER) with the goal of improving patient health outcomes and the quality of health care in general. Now that CER and the work of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) are beginning to take root, what expectations do health care stakeholders have? What is the current environment for health care decision-making?
The National Pharmaceutical Council, working with Social & Scientific Systems, has fielded its third annual survey to gauge attitudes and expectations among key health care stakeholders, including researchers/thought leaders; government; insurers and health plans; employers; business coalitions/human resources specialists; and associations/trade groups.
Please join us for a webinar on Tuesday, March 19 from 10 am to 11 am to hear the findings from this second stakeholder CER survey, including the way opinions have evolved in the past year, and learn about the implications for key players. Speakers include Dan Leonard, president, and Kimberly Westrich, director, health services research, both of the National Pharmaceutical Council, and Dr. Lisa Simpson, president and CEO, AcademyHealth, and Dr. Joe Selby, executive director, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, as discussion panelists.
There is no cost to attend this webinar. Register and join the conversation about the current state and outlook for CER. Tweet about it using #CER13.
