Coming up at AcademyHealth’s inaugural Concordium 2015 meeting, look for Jennifer Graff, PharmD, NPC’s vice president for comparative effectiveness research, who will present findings from a paper published in the September issue of The American Journal of Managed Care (AJMC). She will speak on the topic of "Developing Evidence That Is Fit for Purpose: A Framework for Payer and Research Dialogue," during the 11:30 a.m. Challenge Workshop session on Monday, September 21. During her session, Dr. Graff will provide an overview for the framework she and researchers from AcademyHealth developed to harmonize the development of evidence with decision-maker priorities. She will share what the team learned when the framework was tested among payers and how this framework, to assess whether evidence is “fit for purpose,” can help payers apply real-world research to their decision-making needs. The inaugural Concordium meeting takes place in Washington, DC, and brings together AcademyHealth’s Electronic Data Methods (EDM) Forum Stakeholder Symposium and Delivery System Meeting, to focus on ways to integrate evidence, practice, and policy. Register for the meeting online and read more about the paper on the AJMC website.
