Hanke Zheng, MS, PhD

Research Manager

Hanke Zheng, MS, PhD, is a Research Manager for the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC). Before joining NPC, she served as a pre-doctoral health economics and outcomes research fellow in the pharmaceutical industry. In her role, Dr. Zheng led the execution of real-world evidence generation and scientific dissemination to leverage the value proposition of products. Through collaboration with external partners and internal cross-functional teams, she successfully delivered high-quality HEOR studies to support asset launch and payer engagement to advance patient access to innovative products in the U.S market.

During the same time, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Health Economics at University of Southern California. Dr. Zheng is experienced in developing economic models across various therapeutic areas and conducting retrospective data analysis using real-world data. Her research interest focuses on assessing the value of medicines and healthcare interventions to inform optimal decision making, and in exploring innovative methods in economic modeling and causal inference.
