Specialty drug benefits are critical to ensure access to medications needed to improve the quality of life for millions of Americans. However, plan sponsors are challenged by costs and strive to manage specialty benefits through drug benefit design. Drawing on the results from a national survey of plans sponsors conducted in late 2021, this session will provide insights into the current and planned trends in benefit design and utilization management and offer perspectives from stakeholders across the industry.
